Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Team Leader to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for retail. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, implement merchandising strategies, and contribute to the overall success of our store.

Duties

• Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and resolving issues promptly
• Oversee merchandising efforts to ensure attractive product displays and proper pricing
• Conduct inventory management, including stock replenishment and organization
• Perform commercial driving duties for store deliveries or stock transfers as needed
• Handle heavy lifting of merchandise and supplies safely and efficiently
• Monitor sales performance and analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities
• Train new staff members on store policies, customer service standards, and sales techniques
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment

Skills

• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
• Proven ability in sales and upselling techniques to maximize revenue
• Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and pricing strategies
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, pricing adjustments, and inventory counts
• Experience in commercial driving preferred but not required
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Excellent organizational skills to ensure smooth store operations

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
